Another win

I posted a nice 8-3 win last week to extend by streak to 5. If my team didn't take most of the summer off, I might be in the hunt for a playoff spot.

Trades

I didn't have a huge fire sale like I was planned, but I think I picked up some nice players for the coming years.
In my first transaction, I sent Javier Vazquez and David DeJesus to Gaylord for Freddy Sanchez and Ryan Madson. Vazquez was way to inconsistant this year and DeJesus probably wasn't going to be extended at the end of the year, even though he has been pretty good. Sanchez has been tearing up the ball and might take the batting title. He plays 3 infield positions and will be extended for next year. Madson is a throw in that will help in holds this year.
Second (and lastly) I traded Joe Crede for Cliff Lee. Crede is having a career year (his contract is probably up) so I at least got a decent pitcher with a contract for him.
